Hotel Accommodations

Participants are responsible for making their own lodging reservations (Except Youth Teams awarded a scholarship).

The Summit has arranged for group rates at six Yakima Hotels.

We recommend that chaperones and youth reserve rooms at the Red Lion Yakima Center.

Youth teams awarded with a scholarship will be provided hotel accommodations at the Howard Johnson Hotel. Additional hotel information will be provided upon receipt of scholarship.

Hotel Room Rates

Please make your reservations as soon as possible and use the group name “Prevention Summit” to receive the per diem hotel rate of $70.00/night plus 11.2% tax for single occupancy. The rooms at the Yakima Ledgestone Hotel and Oxford Suites have a rate of $89.00/night plus 11.2% tax for single occupancy.

Double occupancy is available at all hotels for an increased rate. Rates vary at the hotels, but range from $80 - $90/night plus tax. Please inquire when making reservations.

Hotel Group Rate Dates
Group rates are available Wednesday, October 13 – Saturday, October 16

If you require a room before or after the rooms block dates, please inquire with the hotel about receiving the “Prevention Summit” group rate for that date(s). Rooms/rates are not guaranteed, but if space is available, hotels are usually willing to honor the group rate.

Reservations made after the indicated dates will be on a space available basis at prevailing rates.

If you are unable to secure a reservation at one of the six hotels blocked for the Prevention Summit, please contact Rori Douros, Training Coordinator, CASAT (rdouros@casat.org. or 801.581.8967) for information regarding other hotels in the area.

Commuter Parking for Summit Attendees

Complimentary parking is provided at the Yakima Convention Center for Summit attendees.

Hotel Parking

Complimentary parking is provided at all Summit hotels to guests with reservations.

Transportation

Free Airport Transfers

The Red Lion Hotel, Clarion Hotel, Oxford Inn and Oxford Suites offer free shuttle service to and from the airport. Please inquire about the shuttle service when calling about lodging reservations.

Transportation from SeaTac Airport to Yakima Airport
Airporter Shuttle provides transportation to/from the SeaTac Airport directly to/from the Howard Johnson Yakima Hotel for $37 one-way/$74 round trip per person. The shuttle departs at specific times each day. Please call for further information and to make reservations.
