The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery and the Washington Attorney General’s Office created a partnership to provide scholarships for youth teams to attend the 2010 WA State Prevention Summit. Funding will be available to help support the 2011 Prevention Summit to continue prevention of alcohol, tobacco and drug use and place an emphasis on the importance of the prevention of prescription, and synthetic substance use. These grant funds are entirely generated from court settlements with drug companies for consumer protection violations impacting citizens of Washington State.
