- Presenter Description: Cathy Finck is well respected for her prevention efforts and accomplishments. With over 20 years in the field, she has consulted with such organizations as SAMHSA, PIRE and OJJDP. Cathy’s expertise and exemplary skills contribute to the highly effective impact on the various training, strategic planning, evaluation, coalition building, community mobilization and public policy efforts she has been involved in. Currently, Cathy is working on local and state underage drinking prevention efforts in her home state.

- Presenter Description:
Dr. Donald Gordon, the Project Director, has a Ph.D. in child clinical psychology, and has specialized in research and teaching treatment and prevention programs to reduce children’s maladjustment. He is currently employed by Family Works Inc. as its president, and is Director of the Center for Divorce Education. He is an Emeritus Professor of Psychology from Ohio University where he was employed for 23 years training doctoral students in family interventions and conducting a research program.

Presenter Description: Michael Chavez is the Regional Managing Director of Duke Corporate Education, a learning and education firm held wholly by Duke University. As an executive educator, Michael brings to Duke CE more than 15 years of experience in the fields of executive management, marketing, strategy consulting, and organizational learning and development. He holds a BA in Economics from UCLA and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

- Presenter Description: Gail Farmer has been the Director of Wellness at Central Washington University for 10 years. She is also the past chair of the Washington State College Coalition for Substance Abuse Prevention and is currently the state training coordinator for the Network Addressing Collegiate Alcohol and Other Drug Issues.
